Hughenden Solar Farm - Employment Opportunities

The construction of a 20MW solar farm in Hughenden has commenced with civil works to prepare the site and create access.
The remaining construction of the farm will continue until November 2017 and will include:
- Construction of a single axis tracking system.
- Delivery and unloading of approximately 200 containers of equipment needed to construct the solar farm including almost 60,000 solar panels.
- Connection of the solar farm to the local electricity network.
The Principal Contractor for the works is continuing to seek local labour to assist in the construction of the farm. Any experience would be considered especially from those competent in any form of mechanical installation, and we encourage both men and woman wanting to be involved to apply.

The following experience would be considered an advantage but is not essential:

- General labourers
- Leading hands
- Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Quality assurance and control
The engagement of the local labour force will be coordinated by WorkPac and those wishing to register for  employment should register with WorkPac on their website at www.workpac.com.
For those that do not have internet access to register or would like assistance with the registration process a local contact has been employed to provide a registration support service, should any prospective candidates wish to take advantage of this service please contact Brittany at hughendensolarfarm@gmail.com or on 0448 035 434.
