This section of the website is to ensure Council meets the requirements of the Local Government Regulation 2012:
 
Part 7: Public access to particular documents
 
Section 199: Public access to relevant financial and planning documents
  1. This section applies to the following documents of a local government—
    1. 5-year corporate plan;
    2. annual budget;
    3. general purpose financial statement;
    4. community financial report;
    5. annual report;
    6. investment policy;
    7. debt policy;
    8. community grants policy;
    9. procurement policy.
  1. The local government must allow the public—
    1. to inspect the documents—
      1. at the local government's public office; and
      2. on the local government's website; and
    2. to purchase copies of the documents from the local government.
  1. The price for purchasing a copy of a document must be no more than the cost to the local government of making the copy available for purchase

 

.Councillor Expenses Reimbursement Policy

 
This section of the website is to ensure Council meets the requirements of the Local Government Regulation 2012:
 
Section 251: Notification of adoption of expenses reimbursement policy
  1. As soon as practicable after a local government adopts or amends its expenses reimbursement policy, the local government must—
    1. ensure a copy of the policy may be inspected and purchased by the public at the local government’s public office; and
    2. publish the policy on the local government’s website.
  2. The price for purchasing a copy of the policy must be no more than the cost to the local government of making the copy available for purchase.
