Council advises that in pursuance of the provisions of the Holidays Act 1983, the Attorney-General and Minister for Industrial Relations has appointed
Friday, 29 May 2015 a public holiday for the Shire of Flinders for the purpose of the Hughenden Annual Show.

QUOTATIONS FOR HELICOPTER HIRE FOR AERIAL SHOOTING
Quotations are invited to undertake aerial shooting operations for Flinders Shire Wild Dog Control Program.
- The operator must be fully CASA licensed and a commercially operating company.
- The operator should primarily be a mustering organisation that is currently operating, i.e. providing its own machines and pilots.
- The operator must submit copies of, or make available for examination, all relevant CASA certificates, licenses and permits.
Quotations must be received by 2.00pm on Friday, 15 May 2015.
The lowest or any Quotation will not necessarily be accepted.
Quotation documents can be collected from Flinders Shire Council front office.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – CATERING
Expressions of interest are being called for catering for the upcoming Rydweld Porcupine Gorge Challenge on 20 June 2015. For the Challenge we require (sandwiches, muffins, slice, and refreshments. We also require catering for the Presentation Night. Dinner needs to consist of three hotpots E.g. Spaghetti Bolognaise, Curry & Rice. There is not an indication of numbers at this stage, but if you are interested in catering for this function please forward a price per head and a menu plan to Susan Turner Tourism Development Officer via email email@example.com
Also expressions of interest to hold a sausage sizzle or food and refreshments at the Mt Walker fun run on the 21st June 2015.
