There are two locally published publications in the Flinders Shire. For details of each these see the information below.
The Flinders Flyer is a weekly newsletter distributed every Wednesday in towns between Julia Creek and Torrens Creek. It is also sent to over 180 rural properties in the Flinders, Richmond and McKinley Shires. This A4 publication has a circulation of over 1200 and is read by many more in Julia Creek, Richmond, Hughenden, Prairie, Pentland and Torrens Creek.
From local events to classified pages, the Flyer has something for everyone and keeps the community connected.
Copy deadline for all adverts is 9am on Tuesday to be distributed the next day.

The Flinders Crier is a monthly publication, which is produced by volunteers and distributed in the Flinders district. Articles in the Crier are produced as received and are not edited or changed. Late copy is published in the next issue.
Copy deadline is usually a week before publication. For dates, refer to the previous month's issue or contact the Flinders Media Group Inc.
