Community Services Plans (2023–2028)

Building a Brighter Future: Supporting Connectivity, Creativity and Liveability

Council is proud to present a coordinated suite of community service plans that will guide our region from 2023 to 2028. These plans place our community at the centre of long‑term investment in connection, creativity, wellbeing and local identity.

The suite includes:

• Arts, Culture and Heritage Action Plan
• Library and Youth Development Plan
• Tourism Action Plan
• Shaping the Future of the Hughenden Event Precinct (links to be added)

Together, these plans strengthen the foundations that make our region vibrant and resilient. They focus on celebrating our stories, expanding opportunities for young people, supporting local artists and creators, enhancing library and learning services, growing tourism experiences, and reimagining our event precinct as a welcoming destination for the whole community.

This suite reflects the voices of residents, local groups and businesses. It sets a clear pathway for how we will invest in liveability, encourage participation, and create connected community spaces and experiences from 2023 through to 2028.
