Council Meetings & Agendas

Council meetings are held monthly from January to December based on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Meetings generally

• The meeting commences at 9.00 am on Wednesday and closes when all business is complete (Subject to change).
• All correspondence for the council to consider at the monthly meeting should arrive at the council office one week before the meeting so that it can be included in the agenda.

MAY 2026 COUNCIL MEETING – CHANGE OF DATE NOTICE

In accordance with the Local Government Regulation 2012 – Section 254B – Local Government Meetings and Committees; Council advises that there has been an alteration to the date of the Ordinary May Meeting of Council. May’s meeting will be held on Friday 22^nd May 2026 commencing at 9:00am, instead of Wednesday 27 May 2026 as previously advised. Meetings are held in the McNamara Boardroom, 34 Gray Street Hughenden, Queensland 4821.  Meetings are open to the general public.
