Contractor Safety Induction

The Flinders Shire Council requires all contractors, consultants, labour-hire companies and their employees who are performing work for or on behalf of the Council to complete an online safety induction.

If you are a company or business owner, you must direct ALL of your employees who will be undertaking work on your behalf at the Flinders Shire Council to register and complete their individual inductions.  Worepresentative rk may not be carried out until the registration process has been completed and employees or sole traders will not be allowed on site without a valid induction certificate.

Company Registration

The person who is administering the company induction portal will need to register with an ABN/ACN before they or any company employees can complete the individual inductions. This only needs to be completed once for each organisation.

Once registered, you must provide the below information (Individual Inductions) to ALL employees which will be undertaking works on site. If your company has engaged subcontractors/labour hire personnel, it is your responsibility to notify their company representatives that they must also complete this registration process.
