Council Meetings

Council meetings are held monthly from January to December based on the third Tuesday of each month.

Meetings generally:

• The meeting commences at 9.00 am on Tuesday and closes when all business is complete.
• All correspondence for council to consider at the monthly meeting should arrive at the council office one week prior to the meeting for inclusion into the agenda.

OCTOBER COUNCIL MEETING – CHANGE OF DATE NOTICE

In accordance with the Local Government Regulation 2012 – Section 254B – Local Government Meetings and Committees; Council advises that there has been an alteration to the date of the Ordinary October Meeting of Council. 

October’s meeting will be held on Tuesday 24 October 2023 commencing at 9:00am, instead of 17 October2023 as previously advised. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Gray Street Hughenden, Queensland 4821.   Meetings are open to the general public.

All correspondence, which is to considered at the October 2023 Council Meeting will have to be received at the Shire Office by 5.00 pm on the Tuesday 03 October 2023 preceding the Council Meeting, for inclusion in the Agenda.
