Key items discussed at the April 2023 Council meeting included:
- Council to write a letter of support for the Hughenden and District Pistol Club Inc.’s Shooting Range Approval application
- Adopted the March 2023 Financial Report
- Adopted the Water Meter and Consumption Policy, which includes changes to streamline the process for excess water concessions
- Adopted amendments to the Delegations Register – Council to CEO, which includes revision to condition for ratepayer concession
- To provide $500 each in donations towards the Stamford Race Club Races and Community Fun Day, and Sporting Excellence Donation for Travis Mullaly to represent at the Rugby League State Championships
- Grant funding awarded through the Regional Arts Development Fund for the Hughenden Country Music Association.
